Doing brake job on my 2000 coupe and want to know where is best to place the jack stands. I've never had the car on jack stands before, any help is appreciated.

If you look between the tires under the rocker you'll see two slots cut into the frame on both sides. Those are your side jack/stand points, you'll need pucks or small pieces of 3/4" plywood to keep the jack/stands from contacting and damaging the rocker panels.

You can also jack from the rear cross member and the front cross member. I have to get my Vette on ramps before my jack can reach the front crossmember though...

Thanks Tim, I'll have to use the cross members because I'm using slots and pucks to jack car up yo put stands underneath.
