There I was looking at my stock brake calipers after spending 2 hours washing the car and realized that my calipers were looking pretty bad. Anyone have any tips on cleaning these things? They look like "Mr Goodwrench" had his way with them. LOL... not that bad, yet they look dirty still.

I was told to get some rust remover and a pressure washer? Easiest and less maintanence would be to get them powder coated.

I noticed before I painted mine that they were actually stained from brake dust and probably heat. No amount of cleaning helped. Lightly sanding em helped though...
Go ahead and paint em, it's easy enough to do in your driveway...

I usually use some break cleaner and a stiff bristle scrub brush.

Remove the your wheels, brake cleaner that you can get at most automotive stores, I would recommend a mild brush and just take your time. Spray cleaner on brakes and work in the brake cleaner with brush, wipe off, do again till results are what you want.
