I can't drive anywhere to get away from road construction:soapbox: I can't take my vette out for a cruise:wtf:

I live in the mountains near Sequoia National Park (where the giant redwoods are) in California. The highway leading from the national park to the valley floor is the ONLY road, and it's the road I have to take to go to and from my house. Being the only road leading to the national park, it's CONSTANTLY undergoing repairs to keep it nice. So during the summer months, I have to stop for some kind of road maintenance constantly; each time taking 15 minutes or more. I have to admit it IS a darned nice road however, and I thank God it's well maintained.

I just bear and grin the road work what else can you do about it .Just like I live on a dirt road but my home is paid for and I am not going to move because of a little dust .:thumbsup: .............:patriot:

There is a lot of road construction going on here in Tennessee most of the time as well. But like mentioned above, I think Tennessee is listed as having the second best roads in the US. So I like that idea. :thumbsup:

I hear ya! They are repaving all of the major freeways around here finally! (nor cal) But they are about 5 years over due on getting taken care of, and the parts that are still working on are horrible!

That is the worst, driving on a freeway and you hit those different levels of the road! BAM!
