Those of you that bought a larger performance radiator, did you have any issues with space? I was just told that with some of the larger thicker radiators you start having issues with limited space, like where the sway bar butts up to the fan assembly and if you ever wanted to add electric water pump you can't? No room?

Wasn't an issue in my C5. The new DeWitts has the same end size as the stock but is thicker through the cooling section. Had to modify the fan shroud slightly but all fits well....

Installed upgraded sways Monday. No problem...

The tank size stays the same, but the core gets thicker. So it doesn't take up any more space than it did. A thicker (more tubes) radiator core is a darned good thing to do as it will forever cure any overheating problems you've previously had. And the cost isn't really that much more for a thicker core. Maybe double, but how often do you ever pull your radiator out? And a thicker core lasts longer as it doesn't expand and contract nearly as much as a thinner core.
