By chance does anybody know specs on a 1979 c3 Vette's offset for both front and rear setting.
I want to go with 17 x 8 in the front & 17 x 9.5 for the rear but I am not too sure exactly what to look at or what to look for... Could anybody help me get the right offset for both front and rear settings or some recommendations...?
I am lost and don't know exactly what to use. I would appreciate the help!
- :patriot: Thanks!

Ok thanks ! I will def. ask about that on the spacing because i've read a lot about issues on the spacing. And well i don't want to waste any money and have my tires rub or just any ugly look to my vette...
Thanks for the help! i appreciate it! :D

Yeah my tires that I have right now are 10'' wide so it rubs bad on hard turns... So I know im gonna go with an 8 on front wheels or maybe a 9 because i don't want the car to lose the MEAN look from upfront... It would look dumb with skinny's I think... idk...

WheelsForLess is definietly the place where i'm going to purchase the rims because they are cheaper and also have more of a variety with free shipping... so I probably will purchase the 17x9.5 for the front and 17x11 for the back... Well till of course I put some $ to the side... Thanks again for the websites it made it much easier especially that it gave me the specific tire that would fit the corvette! Thanks Again!

I put 17x9's all around- 4" backspace in the rear and 4-1/2 in front. I did add a 3/8 spacer on the rear because the tires (295/40's) were close enough to the trailing arms it made me uncomfortable. Adding the 3/8 spacer, you can throw a cat thru there now. Not TT wheels, but spacing should work out the same.
