I noticed over the last few days there was a small 2" x 1" area of diff fluid under my C5.

I took the car to the local dealer on the weekend for an oil change. While there I had them look at the rear end. They said it was the seal on the drivers side where the half shaft goes in.
There was no one there to give an estimate but the service guy estimated around $800.00.
With that I told them I would wait a while.

Today on the recommendation of quite a few local guys, I called Powell Race Shop. They are located about an hour north east of Toronto.

I explained my situation to the owner John Powell. We are leaving to go on a two week driving vacation Friday morning.

He said bring it right over an they would take a look.
They put it up on the hoist and immediately found that the rear end had been overfilled and was leaking out of the Vent.
They cleaned the area up, rectified the situation and the did a four wheel alignment all for $60.00

You gotta like when you can still find qualified honest people.

That is a great story my friend! lets you know there are honest people still out there. The cool thing for them is they just got a customer for life, well atleast if you don't do the work yourself.
