I have been watching the coverage on Speed TV and thinking about heading to it? Anyone else going? Been there?

My crew and I took a Corvette down to West Palm and sold it for a customer last April. It was fun, we definately liked spending a week in Florida! The car sold, a little lower than we liked, but modified, latye model Vettes are usually hard to get money out of anyway.
It's definately a process, and it's not cheap but it is an experience!

That does sound like it would be a good time, I have seen alot of the coverage and would like to go myself someday.

A group of my friends invited me to go last year, I didn't but they said there was so much energy there. So many amazing cars and celebrities show up to these events also. Once of these days I'll make it, hopefully with some $$ to buy something.

Last year, 4 of us from San Diego did a banzai run to Phoenix and back in one day for the BJ. Left here at 3am and got back home at 10pm, and spent about 6-7hrs just looking at all the damn cars over there. It's like a huge car show, 4 huge tents outside filled with everything you can imagine, plus the really high profile stuff at one end of the big top by the auction arena. Once is enough for me though and flying in for several days would be overkill unless you're a serious buyer.........and I'd say 95% of the people there were just lookers like us. It's becoming a "place to be seen" now more than just an auction. But, it was alot of fun too, just a very long day for us!
