I agree. I have the ZR1 5 spoke and really like the look. I am not a fan of the Z06 wheels on a C4, they just don't quite look right to me.

These are the wheels that were on my Corvette when I acquired it. I like them - but I'm doing a retro custom job anyway. Does anyone know where these came from. It has JIL on them.

How did your paint the crossfire injcetion on the bumper strip? With a little paint brush? Do you have a close up of that and where did you get the racing fuel cap. I don't know what kind of wheels, sorry if my questions are a little off topic.

The crossfire is still there but I plan to sand it off and pain the rubber when I paint the car.

I bought the cap for about $120 http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=2122247

and make the bottom that connects to the gas tank filler. I'm going to have to redo the fuel cap door. The original placement had to be moved.

the 5 slot mag or ansen, usa, kidney bean, whatever you call'em. The all time best looking wheel will make any car any body style look good, and yes i have some on my '85' c4. Yes they look great, unfortunatly out of the five sets that i have 15' x91/2 is the biggest i got.you can find them in 16's but they are rare.Im going to leave the 15's on the front(power sterring loves em) but they arent wide enough or deep enough for the rear,I like that neg offset. I do have a solution though, my lucy came with some dealer installed aftermarket 2 peice wheels by Gotti, I've decided to sacrafice two of my deep dish mags and have them cut and drilled to fit the Gotti rims.

...You have to do a little body work to make the ZO6 wheels look right. http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3352/1121203zd8.jpg (http://img228.imageshack.us/i/1121203zd8.jpg/)

That is what I am running, with 275/40s on the front and 315/35s on the rear. I went with the polished look instead of the chrome, primarily for the weight savings.

ps - The chrome sawblades were not a factory option, but I do like the look.

Does that deal on top of the window work good.

It is called a windjammer and it works very well. I hate the wind across my face and tried different 'fixes'. The hatch vent did not help, the windjammer made a big difference. But the deflectors on the mirrors are what really made a huge difference and fixed the problem.

Good input. I've been searching Gotti wheels. They are very, very close. I can't find the exact match but it might be a 80's thing. I did find that the "JIL" is a small logo placed in the design of automotive alloy wheels during the casting process to certify that they have been passed by Japanese Authorities Standard to approve them for sale in the Japanese market. The letters JIL mean Japan Institute of Labour. Do you have pic of your wheels?
