Getting new tires, is it necessary to replace the sensors also, all is well with the sensors now

As long as they are working now I wouldnt worry about it. Once they stop you can either buy new ones or buy some refurbished ones which have the batteries replaced in them. cplpone 08-22-2009, 05:19 PM The rebuilt sensors for C5 from 2001 to 2004 go for around 35 dollars each. If you go to gmpartshouse.com and purchase new ones they are 40 dollars each. I just ordered replacement tire sensors from gm parts house.
