:burnout: After I clean the radiator I flush the engine put a new coolant sensor a new thermostat[180] the car run like new.The only thing that I dont understand is that the gaige temp mark 199 and when I used the mini temp thermometer it marks 188.5.Theres a diff. of 10 degree. Does the temp gauge is broken?the corvette is a 1985. Does anybody knows what the problem?

Where did you measure the temp with the thermometer?

Yea where are you checking coolant temp at? and are you using a infared temp gun?
