What are your choices as far as high volume or something else and just on average what would the labor charge be on something like this?

The pump of choice for high volume is the Melling 10296. This pump has aprox. .100" thicker gears and a high pressure spring to acheive the high volume and high pressure.

I do not have any info on labor to install. The pump sells for around $159. ported.

Be careful about high pressure. This could push oil into places it's not ment to go......

Volume is key....

When you increase the oil pressure, you also increase the amount of oil that gets thrown off the spinning crankshaft. Then the oil rings have a much tougher job scraping that extra oil off the cylinder walls. For a street driven car, I wouldn't advise increasing the oil pressure.
