Does anyone know where I can find a rear limited slip differential for a 1985 vette? I think Mine is bad, it squeals when I turn after it gets hot.:burnout:

D36 or D44 ?
Just the posi center? You can buy new clutches to rebuild the posi.
Is there any oil in the diff?

I dont know which Diff. I have, but yes, there is oil in the diff. that was the first thing I checked. Where would I go to buy new clutches, and how hard is it to rebuild?:burnout:

Do you have a standard or an automatic. The automatic had the 36, and the standard came with the 44.

Yours is a D36 -ICA

No different to rebuild than any other rearend.
You could buy a takeout diff head (D36's are cheap ) with different gears but more than likely the posi clutches need replacing.Worth doing while head out of car.

Posi clutches available here
