I have ceramic pads on now and they still squeek and it is annoying as hell.

That might help you choose what types of composits you want. It's always a trade off...

Which brand are you using? I have the Hawk pads and no noise what so ever.:thumbsup:

I went with the hawks and have no complaints at all, very little dust and no squeeking.....

I've never had a problem with Hawk HPS on many cars. For long-term quietness,it's important to use brake grease during installation.

I have the AC Delco ceramics (w/about 18k miles) and no noise, yet. I've heard good things about the Hawks. I used all of the grease provided with the ACD pads. It lubricates the areas the pads slide on/in. Be sure NOT to get it on the pads or disc contact area. Ask me how I know... :loser: :smilielol5:
