I have ceramic pads on now and they still squeek and it is annoying as hell.

For long-term quietness,it's important to use brake grease during installation. I have the AC Delco ceramics (w/about 18k miles) and no noise, yet. I've heard good things about the Hawks. I used all of the grease provided with the ACD pads. It lubricates the areas the pads slide on/in. Be sure NOT to get it on the pads or disc contact area.
