I read through 27-28 pages of posts last night going back to March, '07 and saw only one single post concerning the column lock situation with C5s. I'm sure you all know there is another C5 forum where it seems just about every other post plus the world's longest sticky are concerned with steering column lock horror stories, recalls, aftermarket fixes, how-tos etc. How come that doesn't seem to be a problem here? Was this problem solved on this forum and I just didn't read back far enough? If so, how did you do it?

BTW, this is my first post here. I really appreciate and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Believe it or not, it isn't really all that common, it just get's alot of attention!!!! Also there are enough aftermarket fixes and I believe GM finally got off thier **** and agreed to fix it for free...

Now if we can get em to do the same with that damn driver's side differential seal leak... and to stop using plastic gears in headlights, acctuators and and and....

Hmmm, never really thought that was a big deal! Maybe I am a lucky one or something!:)
