I've been talking with Peter the owner of Dragon Race for a long time, following his progress on this new supercharger that they just launched, and have to say this thing is amazing! The kits are available for both C5's and C6's. We should have our hands on some video over the weekend that we will be posting up also.
You know what take a look at the page we have set up for them:http://www.smokinvette.com/dragonsuperchargers/
This shares all the details and includes some photos also.

Are they the ones that did that one side mounted SC set up? I thought that one was pretty cool!

Actually, we worked very hard to offer a product that is priced more economically than the competition (when you factor in the hood change costs). We think after several people around the country get them on their cars everyone will agree that we've covered all the bases on this product and then some.

That really sounds like it will add quite a bit more power to any Vette!:beerbang:

Am in the decision making process and at this this the STS seems the most bang for the buck as well as comfort and long term value when motor work needs to be completed. Would appreciate your advice as a subject expert.

In terms of pure dyno output the STS system will give you the best bang for the buck as it will register the highest torque numbers of all power adders. However, a turbo system (especially a rear mount system), will struggle mightely in stoplight to stoplight or dead stop acceleration. In those terms only a positive displacement supercharger like ours or others or nitrous can generate the instantaneous torque. For road racing I'd avoid any supercharger or turbo as they can produce very difficult to drive power curves in mid corner. However, if you have to road race with a power adder the positive displacement superchargers are hands down the winners and I think we've got the best positive displacement system going.
Consider that a screw blower will typically be a couple car lenghts quicker in the qtr than the turbo car with the same boost. The turbo car will most likely MPH better though through the traps.
I hope that answered your question.

Anyone here tried this kit? Root-style performance without a new hood sounds like good-ness
