I finally put the paper clip to the ODB1 and jumped A and C pins and got 2 codes.

31- left front out of position
34- right rear out of position

is this a common problem?
do i have to replace or repair the actuator?

as i am looking deep into the Service Manual. it looks like the answer is only,
1. bad actuator or 2. bad shock.
Even if it is the shocks it will cost like 4 bills, and just to replace 2 makes no sense to me.
i am thinking at this point, replace all with normal shocks..... and replace the FX3 components when i have extra cash....

It is almost always the plastic gears in the actuators. About 3 yrs ago I discarded the FX3 on mine and sold the actuators and shocks for enough to buy a brand new set of Bilsteins and had money left over. In todays economy it would be hard to sell the fx3 stuff, but maintaining a system that I did not need, nor care about made no sense.

At this point $299- for a set of Bilsteins is the way to go. I will hold on to the Fx3 components. The car as it stands is one in like 750 because of the white seats. From what i have found i think it is like 700 something with the fx3 that year. how many of those had white seats is the question.......??
