I was wondering if anyone would trade their used vette for a new 2010 camaro SS? Not taking into consideration the price difference, obviously.

That's a trade I'll pass. :burnout:

The trade sounds like a step down to me. I'm not sure I'd want the first model year. Especially with some of the threads that were posted talking about rear ends/axles breaking.

No way. I think the new Camaro is a butt ugly car. It looks too much like a Chyrsler.

They are nice cars, I had the chance to drive a strip down V6 model and I must say it was nice for what it was. But is still a huge car that doesnt and will not ever handle aswell as a vette nor stock aswell due to the weight. If I could afford to have one as a DD, I would.

I have driven a fully loaded top of the line 6 speed prototype unit.
It was truly a great car but still not a Vette.
So the answer is NO!!!:burnout:

This was the Car.

my neighbor bought one to try and "keep up" with his neighbors... and although the camaro does ride nice, I enjoy taking my targa top off punching it and still beating his camaro every time!

under some duress and with arthritis/age, etc. my back cant handle the long trips in the Vette anymore, so I plan to trade in the spring and go on the HR power tour. i will dearly miss the targa, but the seats in the camaro are the best i have ever experienced! i bought my 99 coupe red/grey new and have 41k miles. wish i could afford both-vette is an aweome golf cart in Sun City!:givemebeer.sml:

Not a chance. I have driven my '82 for 22 years now and I have no desire to trade DOWN. The new 2010 Camaro looks just like a Chrysler to me.
