I could be wrong but I think that you may be able to go to your local Advance or Autozone and buy the package that has the lug nut key in it. Or call the manufactuer and ask about getting a spare.

Buy a cheap socket that is close to the size of the lock.Hammer it on with a hammer carefully then loosen with a breaker bar or 1/2 drive ratchet

Lethal is right, a 12 point socket and hammer it on, rest assured that you will ruin that lugnut!

There are also those sockets that have pins in them and fit into any shape.

I suspect you need to buy more than one cheap socket if you hammertime them.

Are you talking about that socket that was sold on tv? That I have heard really works great for all sizes!

I just bought on '08. I was wondering where that lug key is located? Can't seem to find it.

Glove box or sometimes in the rear cubby, either way just look for it in all the storage spaces as the last owner might have put it in one of them. Congrats on the Vette!

There's supposedly an 'indent' in the trunk floor that holds the wheel lock key.
It's under the carpet on the outside left edge of the the trunk's center storage compartment.
Haven't had a chance to verify this one, let me know if it's correct.

Thats where mine was Don. Little indent by rear center storage on left hand side.

You can always have someone weld a big 7/8" nut onto your keyed nut, then take the nut off with a big socket. And next time put your key into the car's glove box where it belongs.
