: Any tools lost in motor bay? Ziggy 07-24-2009, 05:59 AM Any of you drop a tool on accident in the motor bay and can't find it? I was working on mine yesterday and my 10mm socket came off and fell down on the passenger side. It wasn't under the car, I looked all over for nearly 30 minutes and gave up. Good luck ! :happy0045: No kidding, I dropped a socket there a long time ago and I have yet to see it!lol Blackhorse Zo6 07-24-2009, 01:10 PM Oh yes when I change my battery the socket fell couldn't fine it on the floor .But found out were it was .There is a plastic cover that was close to the inner splash shield the conner piece was stapled on so I pulled of the cover & there was the socket But I got it & used screws to put the cover back on.......................:patriot: awnuts 07-24-2009, 01:10 PM pick the car up and shake it. Larry B 07-24-2009, 01:30 PM No tools but last week while installing a stainless steel cowl cover I dropped not one but two of the chrome washers, I figured "OH WELL" they're gone!
