Not yet!

But I have future plans to fit an STS Remote Twin Turbo System on my 78.

An idea I'm kicking around for it until the money's available:

Re-create the 78 Cold Air Intake System in Aluminum, (probably cast and polished) using the original plastic as a design/mould guide.

I think the shape of the stock Cold Air Intake (done in aluminum and able to take the pressure of the turbos ) would work well with an Intercooler mounted in front the radiator feeding it, it'll look like stock, but be much stronger, and "Shiny" :woowoo:

Now if I upgrade from a carbed system to an injected then this idea will probably go by the wayside, but it's still early in the brainstorming phase.

I love everything:sm_party: , except the Daytona Headlight treatment (no offense, I'm just really into the Pop Ups).

I checked out the same hood and body panels & louvers at Ecklers, (very cool), but then I started thinking about the fact that if I go with an STS Remote Rear mounted twin Turbo System, I wouldn't need the scoops in the hood, right, what with the turbos mounted in the back and all?

Yeah It's all stock pretty much... all i've done to it recently is just the 700r4 transmission swap, take off propane setup & tanks, its got a 350 on it and i'm wanting to put a 800 cfm holley on it but idk I am waiting til my father-in-law is gonna give me the go cause I am gonna borrow it to see how it runs :D

I wish I put a twin turbo setup on my vette but the style of it is pretty awesome.
Yeah idk I actually bought this vehicle setup like this off my dad... good taste huh? haha :D Pretty surprised my dad has some style! But yeah I like the NO POP UPS cause idk I hear to many problems and IDK it just looks clean, and nice to me at least.

To each there owns i guess idk...? Everybody has there own preference and likings. :D Hope you get the hood man its just much more meaner! :)

No, I haven't checked with STS, but I'm assuming it would have to be a complete "you're on your own" type of affair, since most of these aftermarket power adder companies focus only on the newer (C5, C6) models. I figure if I were to change to true dual exhaust and remove the spare tire, there would be lot's of room for an STS inspired (and component sourced) system, although I'm sure I would have to fabricate everything (mounting brackets, intake, outlet plumbing, etc.) except the actual turbos themselves.

I never got to dyno it,I was still dialin it in when the distributor flew appart under boost and popped the motor. It was strong and had a power band like a two stroke!:burnout: I never got to turn up the boost.I'm going with a Gen III (LSX style)6.0 with twins on it now.I hope to have it back up by spring.:cheers:This is the Sbc running!http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g65/showme71vette/th_MPEG0019.jpg (http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g65/showme71vette/?action=view&current=MPEG0019.flv)

Yeah, but I wanted a Gen III pretty bad.I could have had it up and going again if I stuck with the sbc.Nothing will transfer to the Ls so it's like starting over.It will take a little more fabbin and alot more $$ this time but I think it will be worth it.
