I have side pipes on my 1980. You'll love'em! Your right I LOVE them. I really want a pair on mine now. When did you get those put on? How much if you don't mind me asking. Was it hard to install? How do they install? Take off old headers and put on new headers with pipe? Or can they bolt up to your old headers and run out the side? USNChief 01-22-2010, 01:21 PM I had them put on on Vetrains day. I didn't put them on. It was a matter of time limitations. They don't appear to be to hard to install. Take the old headers off, put the new ones on, then attach the side pipes. There are two bolts that attach to you car to keep them up. I got mine used. They need rechromed. I paid 150 for them. I thought it was a good deal. I would suggest going with the ceramic coated.
