Is anyone running an e85 tune with their car? If so what kind of results are they getting and how far do they think they can push them on stock internals without damaging the engine. Right now I am running a procharger with some extras at 650hp to the wheels. I can run a smaller pulley for more boost but we would have to upgrade the injectors from 800cc to 1000 and change out the fuel rail and fuel pumps. Supposedly I could get an extra 100- 200hp from this. I'm kind of worried about it though because of the elevation where I live, when I go further south the injectors get maxed out and I have to detune the car to go back to louisiana.

You will be able to be more agressive on the tune & will pick up some power on your present setup not to mention being able to up the boost. There are even gains to be had in the midrange, likely from the additional cooling effects of alcohol.
You will need about 30% additional pump & injector capacity at your same power level.
Feel free to call if you want to do a fuel system upgrade. I've built quite a few E85 setups as well as some very high HP Corvette fuel systems.
I can be reached at 724-322-8505. 9:00am-11:00pm eastern time, including weekends.

How much different are the E85 systems from the typical fuel system?

Besides being 30% larger capacity, they need to use non-rubber based lines for durability.
I use teflon lines as they do not deteriorate over time.
Many pumps are not suitable for alcohol based fuels, so this is a major consideration.
If you want a system I can get you the items you need. Feel free to contact me for more info.

Are you converting non E85 Corvettes to E85? If so, what changes need to be made to the motor or is it all in the fuel system my it self? Different injectors??? I really never fully understood the E85 thing other than I know it's made from corn.

I do not do E85 conversions. I sell fuel system components for high flow/HP situations.
E85 will run fine in any motor (with the proper tuning), but allows more power in high compression or forced induction motors due to its evaporative cooling effects & higher octane rating.

The reason I was asking was because I am running it right now with a procharger and I was wondering at what point I would have to start building up the internals on the engine. I'm getting 650 to the wheels with 800cc injectors and they say in order to get anymore I would have to upgrade the fuel pumps, injectors and fuel rails. I don't want to neccessarily upgrade it for the extra power but i want to do it for when i drive back and forth between colorado and louisiana because right now when I'm in colorado at 6000ft the injectors are running at 90% and I dont have the ability to run the E85 at sealevel because of all the extra air going into the engine.

If you are at 650 on a stock bottom end, you may not want to go any further...
As for a fuel system, feel free to give me a call. I can point you in the right direction.

:iagree: 650 on stock bottom end is getting pretty close to it's limit.
