With a aftermarket cam are the stock lifters in these cars likely to give out? Or am I getting incorrect information?

stock lifter will work just fine, when most replace lifters they replace them with stock LS7 lifters. Dont use the GMPP CTSV lifters though if you do replace them, Ive seen way to many of them fail!

The LS7 is the replacement lifter for all LS1-LS7

most only replace w LS7 when building a motor

Yes the stock lifters will go out I have my car at vengeance racing now replacing the lifters with competition lifters. I also went with 220cc trickflowheads etc:givemebeer.sml:
