What is the one that everyone is using and is it a difficult job? Thank you.

I think that there are a few companies that make them and they are all sort of alike. The job itself I have heard is not hard at all.

I've had mine go once (actually when I got the car) and paid the dealer $400 to replace that $25 part.

It's doable. You need to remove the intake manifold ( coils, fuel rails, etc to before that) to get to it (or drill a big hole in the cowling :toilet: )

The oil pressue sensor is a cheap part that fails often on the C5. The problem is it's located on the back of the engine tucked under the cowling where is inaccessible.

Many people have installed or made relation kits so that replacing the sensor in the future is easier.

You and I are in the same boat, but I luckily only paid my dealer $350 to replace that little part.:soapbox:
