I don't want forced inductions, just some simple bolt ons, or things to change in the engine to get 500rwhp without changing to much in the engine?

I already have an intake, headers and exhaust.

Pretty tall order: 500 RWHP on an N/A engine of stock displacement. It can definitely be done but it's $$.

I've read that the ZR1 puts out 505 RWHP, so as we all know, that's in the neighborhood of 638 at the crank. GM did this with forced induction because it's easier to obtain those lofty numbers than to make a NA beast. Sure it can be done, but I wouldn't think it would have much drivability to it as a street machine.

Almost impossible on a NA engine. The closest is the LS7? (7.0 lt) whihc is rated 504 at the crank.

Considering diminishing returns, you'd probable need a 10liter beast.

Why do you need 500 rwhp ?

Have you replaced your transmission, diff, and drive shaft - cause they'll be a twisted pile in no time

High compression (12.5:1) to start, 236/244 113 camshaft, excellent heads ($5000+) and you can get there.

We built a stock bottom ended LS6 engine that made 495 RWHP and could scream to 7500 RPM so it *can* be done but not cheaply.

Powerful - cheap - reliable.
Pick any two because you can't have all three.

do what i did , call PATRIOT PERFORMANCE have them build you a 500HP stroker motor. even if you could bolt on enough parts to get to 500HP ,the stock bottom end wont hold up

Are you talking Crank HP or Wheel HP? Crank HP is much easier than Wheel HP to do since the drivetrain sucks up 50-75 HP.

500rwhp is a tall orded. no bolt on will do that w /out supercharging or turbo charging and still be driveable everyday with a stock smallblock lower end , gonna have to dial it back a little

crank hp 501 at 6200nrpm 498 lbs torque runs like a scalded dog in my 81 and still run my a/c on hot days
