Where is signal flasher on early 68 Vette [Archive]

There is a separate circuit for the signal lights Rchristina76vette 07-13-2009, 11:17 AM Try looking under inside the jack compartment on the wall behind the passenger seat from the inside of the compartment for the jack. There is a flasher there on my 76... Wink Dillard 07-13-2009, 04:02 PM Thanks for the suggestion but that is the alarm system flasher. All manual and the GM build book show the flasher on the right side of the dash. I had no flashers for emergency or signal. I replaced the emergency flasher on the fuse box and the signal lights started to work but no emergency. I removed the flasher and accidently hit the signal light lever and the lights flashed. There is another flasher somewhere but I can't find. I even tried to listen for the sound unsuccessfully. There are no wires going to the right side of the dash in the harness. The VIN is 40257 and I think my Vette was built in Oct. 1967. SportsCarsUnlimited 07-19-2009, 10:56 PM The plot thickens. It should be behaind the glove pouch on the pass, side (if 68's had one) with a clip holding it to the back side of the panel. David Wink Dillard 07-22-2009, 09:32 AM Horay!!!! I found the flasher. It is mounted to the transmission hump under the center instrument panel nera the drivers side. You can reach it thru the console drivers side lower panel.
