I just took possession of a 2003 50th Anniversayr Edition convertable. The only small problem I have is the drivers side lubmar support system. When I activate any of the three controls on the seat, I can hear the compressor running, but nothing happens. When compared to the passenger seat compressor, the drivers side is much quieter, leading me to believe it is not connected to anything. The lumbar supports appear to be somewhat inflated and operating the controls won't deflate them either. A visual inspection under the seat shows nothing obviously disconnected. Any ideas?

I would agree with you on that one, it's most likely not connected.

If one of the cables under your seat has come loose or actually come unconected which they can , that would be what would happen.

I finally got to the bottom of the problem with the help of a GREAT tech at Harchelroad Motors in Imperial, NE. Turns out the seat control module, located under the passenger seat, was bad. Replaced it and all is well.
