RICHMOND, CA-May 28, 2009. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that Pfadt Race Engineering will offer nearly $20,000 in gift certificate rewards to the top finishers at the 4th annual NASA Championship event at Miller Motorsports Park on September 10-13th, 2009.

The 2008 NASA National Competition was an impressive event for Pfadt Team Members. Pfadt Corvettes won podium finishes in ST-1, ST-2, TTU, TTS, and TTA confirming our belief that our line of suspension products gives our team members the competitive edge. We are excited to continue our support of Corvette racing at this year’s event and expect great results from all of our Pfadt Race Team members.

The award program will apply to all Corvette competitors competing in a Corvette at the NASA Championship event. Any competitor that scores points racing a Corvette during the weekend will be eligible for at least $50 in Pfadt Cash regardless of finishing position which can be used for any products or consumables on the Pfadt website.

The contingency program will award drivers a “Pfadt cash” gift certificate in the amounts of $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place if there are five or more starters in their class. Applicants must be a registered member of the Pfadt Racing Team prior to competing for contingency rewards. Joining the team is easy and details are available by visiting www.pfadtracing.com or by calling 888-972-2464.

We're huge supporters of the racing and enthusiast community and our contingency program is just one way we walk the talk! Even if you don't race, consider coming out to watch the National competition at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.

NASA always does a good job of filming the event and last year they released the video. I don't think it made it to TV. I'll know more as the event gets closer and we'll be sure to let you know if it will be aired.

We are planning on running the 25 Hours of Thunderhill again this December, and we will be featured on the Versus coverage. That probably won't air until early 2010, though. :thumbsup3:

I think that Miller charges some nominal entry fee, but this is certainly a spectator event.

How many cars run in that race?

In our race group there should be 30 to 40 cars. Our race group will have 3 or 4 classes in it. Last year there were about 12 cars in the ST1 final. In the whole event there will be hundreds of cars entered. They are spread amongst different classes and race groups. The event lasts for 5 days.
