I usually shut down my other car projects and just focus on the vettes. Also I try to avoid costco, that place always sucks $300-$400 out of ya every time you go there. I was think on canceling my satelite tv, nothing on in the summer anyways.

*Gas: Car pool to work
*Clothes: I never buy them. Maybe once every 2-3 years I buy some new boxers, and Carhartts.
*Cars. I've only ever bought one new car, and I'll never do that again. Waste of money. Other than that one car, I almost ALWAYS, MAKE money on the cars that I buy and sell. The last was a nearly mint '86 Camaro; 350, TFS heads, Steel bottom end, etc, T56, Koni's C4 brakes, and on and on...I bought it for $3500, sold it for $5000.
*Car repairs: I don't ever pay anyone to fix anything for me; I do it all myself
*Car parts: Part of my work responsibilities are fleet maintenance director; so I get all my parts cheap -just above cost, or at cost.
*home maintenance: Same thing. I don't pay anyone to do work on my property which I am fully capable of doing on my own.
*Interest: I don't carry a lot of debt, therefore, I don't blow my money on interest.
*Health: I stay healthy, don't get sick, don't miss work, don't pay deductibles.
*Entertainment: I entertain myself. Mountian biking, boating/slalom skiing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and of course, using the cars as toys. These things cost SOME money, but I have an "experience" from it, not a hang over or a "low".
*Entertainment II: Basic cable ($14/month) that Comcast WON'T tell you that they offer. No internet, no digital HD flat/wide screen TV's etc. All my hifi/TV stuff is used, and most of it, I got for free; amp, Gen I Bose 901 speakers, Advent Legend II speakers, CD player, etc....all free.
I think that's about it for areas where I scrimp, to save money for the things that I'm passionate about.

Same idea. I will switch back to domestic beer, but the Gin will still be Tangaray (Burnett's is ok in a pinch). But then that is just hypothetical anyway.

Considering my wife is the one that spends most of the money I make I think I might have to get rid of her to have more money for the vette. :smilielol5:
