Hey all-
Wondering if anyone has dealt with this before. I have a 76 whose speedometer sticks at around 65mph and stays there until my speed drops back to around 50mph, then it works fine again. I rarely take her on the highway, so it's not uber critical, but if it's an easy/inexpensive fix I might go for it.
Any ideas on the cause/ possible fixes are appreciated!

It sounds like a tiny piece of grit has gotten stuck in the speedometer needle's gears. I think if you take the speedometer out and gently move the needle up to 120, that will crush the grit and unstick it. Then blow it out good with compressed air. My '73 Chevrolet pickup just started doing the exact same thing.
