How often are you guys flushing out your brakes on your Vette? Are you basing this off of time or mileage?

I never flush my brake fluid. My car is now 27 years old and I have never had any trouble with my brakes other than normal brake pad and piston seal replacement. Do the later model Corvettes with aluminum calipers require flushing the brake fluid?

I generally have my done when the brakes are done, but then again it depends on your driving and braking habits.

If you are racing and do a lot of heavy braking you can overheat the fluid which destroys it.

So, it totally depends on you. :burnout:

Which brings up the question of hydraulic Clutch fluid, it was a real Pain to get the old fluid out of my old C5. I just purchased a C6, any easy way to replace the fluid in it?
