I like the idea of this launch control that GM just came out with in the 2010's. Is there any way that this launch control can be installed into my '08? How would this work, is it a module or just a different type of tune that is installed on the car?

You can install a 2 set controller activated by the clutch to help with consistant launches.

Do you know anything about the Lingenfelter launch control? How is this unit? I was doing some searches online today can saw this one.
Thanks!

I am using one on my car. I can keep the launch rpm's the same each time and then I compensate with the traction control system to do the rest. Works great and it plugs right in. I handle the adjustment to the traction control with HP tuner.

So you can adjust the launch? Or is it preset at certain RPM's? I'm not 100% on how this launch control works, I heard that the new Vettes have it but don't know exactly how it works?

You are setting a rev limiter with the clutch pressed in to your desired rpm. When the clutch switch is released the rev limiter goes back your regular setting.

Ragin, how long have you had the Lingenfelter system installed on your ride? Is this pretty much the best set up available for C6's?

I have had it for about 3 months. Simply install with only one wire to tap at clutch. The rest plugs into the coil harness.

A buddy of mine has one of these, on his Vette. My next order I'm picking up one. The thing I never asked him is the install so this thread answers that!
