What all can be done to remove heat soak from under the hood? I have a dewitts radiator so far, and was looking at additional means to remove heat.

What other options are available?

Your Dewitts radiator didn't change the amount of BTU's being trapped under your hood. The only thing I can think of to remove the amount of trapped heat would be to start removing obstructions that prevent the heat from escaping. Like removing your air conditioning. And any power steering components. And power brake components. And maybe consider adding louvers in the hood somehow.

When you take a close look at the small amount of area for heat to escape, it's no wonder things get so hot under the hood. I have known of people who have cut out large portions of their inner fenders; to allow heat to escape thru the wheel wells. What they did was unnessessary, but they felt good about what they did nevertheless.

if you dont want to remove air blocking stuff get the $400 twin fan system it sucks in twice as much air as the stock fan system.

I think that is my next move.

Also some nice looking heat extractor hoods have come out.

I thought about putting a 1" spacer or so on the twin back locks to raise the hood up toward the cowl so that sitting at a light hot air could escape from around the cowl area. I know it wont work at speed cause that's an induction area. but I need heat out sitting in traffic not at speed.

I have seen hedder heat wrapping over the years; some kind of asbestos tape that you wrap around your hedder tubes. I have read it does a good job of reducing underhood heat.

Couple questions for your "remove air blocking stuff" - what are you referring to here? Also twin fans? Who makes this and is this a direct bolt in?
