When we road race we cover up various parts of the car up with blue masking tape to prevent rock damage. I was wondering when left on for a day or two then removed, does this leave any residue or pull any wax or damage the cars finish at all?

I have left it on for a couple of days when polishing my cars. It did not leave a residue and I have not had any problems. If it was left on a car baking in the sun for days there might be. I have also used it for paint protection when I have tracked my cars a Sebring. In this case I have always removed that night when I got home from the track or the next morning.

I would have to agree with Sword, as long as you aren't leaving the tape on there for bake for days you should be ok.

I've had the blue tape on for a couple days and had no issue pulling it off. :thumbsup:
