It depends on the grills, any car needs to breath. You obstruct its ability to breath and you will find some cooling issues.

If you're talking about the Z06 mesh, go for it, your fog surround blocks off that area anyway.

If it is too tight of a mesh then I would say that yes it would deter a little bit of the air coming in, but keep in mind that I am not a physiologist!

I have the race mesh on mine and it looks great, didn't notice any difference in temps. If you are looking for different front ends you might want to look at the tigershark nose's. They look cool and I belive will get more air flow as you are seeking.

I believe the tigershark front end is designed to give more down force to the front of the car and may not give more air to the engine bay.

I see, the Tigershark body doesn't come with side skirts or does it? I have noticed over the weekend I could find the nose and rear end put no side skirts?
