I have a gauge cluster that is not luminated very well. I need to know if there is a schematic or pin description for the two cables going to the cluster. There is a 40ish and 24 pin plug. Can't find anything that tells me what each wire is supposed to be doing. And men please don't tell me a girl can't do this, it's my brothers car and I know more about it than he does. Now I need to prove it to him. Any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just tried doing a quick search for any info on this and unfortunately came up empty handed. I have a friend at work that might know so I'll ask him today and if he has an answer I will get back with you! Good luck!

gwsbigred.....ok, fixed mine! Make sure the optical eye that controls the brightness of dash lights is unobstructed. It's the lil square opening in the dash panel right above and to the left of the speedo. Dumb me had put some foam tape on the back of my dash panel to quiet a lil rattle I had and I inadvertantely covered this and hence almost no dash lights. The sensor thought it was dark out all the time, hence it had the dash lights down very dim.
