: Memory Seating Gone CRAZY

I have a 2000 Corvette roadster and the memory seats have gone crazy:toocrazy: . It must know at least 10 different settings from 1 button and sometimes shoves me so far to the front when turning off the vehicle that my knees are crushed on the wheel. The telescopic steering has also been having problems with not going in and out but i suspect that may just be the switch. I have set the 3 different buttons and it still does this. Any advice on what may be wrong? Has anyone else experienced it? Oh and the only thing that is always the same are the mirrors if that makes any difference or gives any clues as to where the problem is. Thanks !

Heh I had the same problem with mine. what was odd about it was the ignition control relay was causing the problem. Its odd, but after I had that replaced the problem stopped. Have yours checked out who knows.

I would never have thought it would be that.

Yeah for some reason it was causing the problem on mine. It would not read the key right and the seat would go into a odd position that would make it impossible to drive. It would also cause the car not to start. I had to click it about 10 times before it would finally start. Well for that part it would have cost me $600, but they refunded me the full refund of the part relay they installed that was also $600 so it covered it and I paid nothing. You should have your dealer look at that relay. That is a important piece as it controls the security system, engine control, engine lockout, and the driver seat memory.
