My 2001 coupe was in winter storage until May, 2009. Battery was dead even though had trickle charger on it all winter. Installed new batery and all seemed well. Left headlights on this evening and ran battery down. Let car set a while and it started up. However, check engine soon light came on and the headlights would not work. Also, voltage meter showed less than 14 volts charging. Got it home, shut down and started up again OK but CES light still on and headlights not working. Any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks very much for the info. No DIC codes or messages popped up. This morning I went out and removed Fuse #6 in the floorboard box. It was fine and I put it back in. Heard a faint "click" sound. Started the car up (no problem) and the headlights popped on normally and the CES light was off - go figure!! I do not know what happened, maybe a breaker tripped when I started it up last night and it reset itself overnight. Just guessing.
Oh well - I am just grateful it is OK.
Thanks Again
