I was wondering what cam would be a good street cam with a healthy lope for a LS3 Vette ? Im expecting to get my Vette finally about christmas time and just curious. I plan on Kooks long tubes, corsa sport exhaust and a slp blackwing CAI if that helps, thanks.
Is the LSA the way the cam lopes ?

The best street cam wil have 210-225 degrees, and a real high lift. For quick valve action.

Also a LSA (lobe separation angle) of no more than 112*for more lope and better low end torque.

High lift is good but also more valve train wear. I would limit lift to no more than about .600 for improved longevity.

You'll probably want something with around 224-228 intake duration at .050" and exhaust duration around 238-244 at .050 on a 113-115 Lobe separation angle.

Lobe separation will give you an idea of how much lope it will have but cams should be designed for a specific purpose, not just sound at idle. You can make just about any cam "lopey" at idle with tuning. Cams for road racing are significantly different than cams for drag racing. With road racing, you want torque to be fairly even across the board. With drag racing, you want to optimize the area you spend the most time in on the track. Idle & other considerations are secondary at most to making maximum horsepower.
