I just watched this documentary this morning. Pretty amazing stuff, how the oil companies really have that much influence over the auto manufactures. Its kind of BS from a couple stand points. But when you think about it, if the electric car was to be a success, if you have seen this movie, when they where interviewing the GM mechanic he was saying or talking rather about the lack of service parts that needed to be replaced in these cars. So at the end, less mechanics would be needed, the parts industry would take a plunge, new aftermarket companies would most likely surface. Over all when you look at all the pieces or parties involved it leaves you on both sides of the fence???

This was recommend as a interesting documentary to watch as well. Watched this, and will say its interesting to put it mildly? I remembering seeing these cars around, charging stations, and then know where to be found. Well that video sure showed why. I'll say its worth watching, if you like Discovery and History on the tube, you will find some interest in this one.
