Hi everyone I'm looking to get some affordable new power out of my 02 so wanted to see a list of best mods for the buck that give 10-20HP?

The first thing I would do is a Vararam intake system. They are a tad over $300 and they can be installed by yourself if you are comfortable using basic tools. After that I would go with a set of headers.

Thats right, I went with the Catback exaust first and then the CAI and then I got the headers last and you will see a very nice difference with your Vette!

I have seen many post about Vararam systems and see you are a tuner. What numbers have you seen from installation of a Vararam?

Go with an exhaust of some sort and from I just learned adding a 160 or 170 therostat will keep the engine running cooler that could give some more power?

I have looked at some of these hand held deals. Diablo and Hyper tech and EFI Live was recommend to me. I was told the Hyper tech and Diablo have pre tuned packages in these things? Are there any tuners that you can recommend for me to look into?

All the above will do it, basic bolt-ons. You won't notice a 10 HP increase though. But with all the bolt-ons and a Tune you'll see anywhere from a 30 to 45ish increase. See my signature... A stock MN6 is usually around 301 RWHP, the last time I dynoed it was almost exactly 350/350 (STD):cheers:

PS Don't get caught up in Dyno numbers, it's basically a tuning tool to show gross increases...

Fyi 10" neon tubes add 10hp. 12" add 12hp and so on. Dont forget the LED strips though. Less resistance. 10" LED adds 30hp. :bs: :rofl: :wtf:

Sorry, no added horsepower. However Corvette hats do add aerodynamics when the top is off. Corvett shirts add styling, and corvette jackets add sex apeal!!
