Having a problem with the remote not unlucking the passenger door.

Doesn't looking good when my date (wife of 25 years) has to wait while I get in the car to manually unluck the door...

The remote unlucks the driver door and in the pass has unlocked the passenger door on the second press.

Suspecting some electrical issue in the door.

Any suggestions?

That would be my first though buddy, that the sensor that tells the door to unlock is done for.

Thanks - forgot to mention it does lock.

But agree its the actuator.

Will have to dig in a buy a new one....

Mine does that too intermitently.There is a door control module that controls locks and windows.I 've read that you can replace the relay inside it.Just gotta find the article:doh:

I've found a replacement part for about $50.

Dealer says it's part of an assembly that costs $225. :toocrazy: gmpartsdirect has it for $51 and a couple aftermarket places have it for a little less.

Part# 255-1240-ND.
Less than $10.00 for all 4 pcs.
