I'm working on my 85 vette, tring to get some bugs worked out. Does any one have a wiring diagram for this year. The horns blow all the time when pluged in. If the battery is left hooked up it will drain, I beleive the interior lights are comig on after the car is off, (saw it happen once) They came on once while I was driving the car, then went off. If I take the fuse out and it is ok. Also how do the fog lamps/ marker lights come out, not the bulbs the housing. Thanks for any help

It sounds like you just have a stuck horn relay. Try replacing that relay first before you do anything else.

I was having the same type of issues and bought a Chilton repair manual. It has the wiring diagrams listed in it.

Caution. Some of the wiring is the same from year to year, but not all. The horn wiring probably will carry over for several, if not all C4s. However, for best results check out my advice on manuals, here (http://www.smokinvette.com/corvetteforum/showpost.php?p=199323&postcount=3)

My FSM (http://www.helminc.com) for my '84 says one thing and shows another. It seems to be on the inside of the firewall just above the bulkhead connector. My guess is that the '85 would be the same. However...

The horn relay is behaind the information center above the radio. The fuse for the security system is next to it, You mite try removing the fuse if the horn relay is good.
