You realize just a tad more and you can get yourself a set of performance heads like AFR's or something like that.

And for a fair amount less you can get L92 heads, which are kind of LS7 heads cheap. They are a standard GM part, and just bolt on (at least on LS2's)

It is high for just porting the heads. You can get a nice set of new heads for under 1600 with dual springs and porting with no cores needed.

Depends on your intended application and flow bench numbers if it would be worth it for you. :thumbsup:
