I know there was a recent thread on Amsoil and Purple (I think) but has anyone heard of these folks? I went to their site and it looks pretty nice but as you all know looks can be decieving! Thanks everyone!

Yeah, aren't they in Cali? They are supposed to be good yet I haven' t use their product.

Aren't you supposed to use synthetic oil on just high milage vehicals? And is this stuff worth what they are charging for it?

It's not a vette but I've used Amsoil in my Ducatis for years without problems and wouldn't hesitate to look at the brand for my cars.

What benefits do you see from running one of these synthetics? Is it just engine life or can you actually see other benefits? Cooler engine, more power?? Never used synthetics myself.

All of the above is what I have heard. If you are not racing or often pushing the car hard, I have also been told that your better off just sticking with OEM?
