I live just west of FW, grew up here, ran off and did 20 yrs in the AF, lived in a few interesting places, came home and married the girl down the street and I work at Lockheed Martin making F-35 JSF's.

I was talking with a guy at work telling him that I had a dream of driving a C3, and he offered to sell me his 74 BB. After a few months of wearing my wife down, I picked it up. It's an original bb, automatic, with factory air and gymkana suspension. Needs body work, but nothing dramatic, the worst spot is a crunched corner at the back end of the hood. The original block is in my garage with a newer block and beefed up TH400 in the car, the suspension has been redone with poly bushings. I'm currently working on why it's running 250 degrees around town, I haven't driven it at hwy speed yet, so I'm not sure if it goes down or up then. I took out a restrictor plate and installed a 160deg thermostat. The po was using it for autocross. Looking at the coolant, it looks a little light on the antifreeze, I need to call him and see if used dexcool, because the coolant is red. I'm thinking that might be part of the problem.


I get more pics when when I get time to pull it out into the sun. I have to fix the windows in the pickup, replace the blown speakers in the truck, put the headliner back up in the commuter corolla, fix the door handle in the corolla.

You know what it's like to go back to that toyota after the vette, my right foot doesn't know what to do!
