Here is a deal on one from a local message board that I hang on as well. you could call him and get a hands on explantion of what one thinks about them. Maybe you can buy it too, I have no affliation with him or his lift, just remembered that thread when I read this one. Hope it helps.

Decided to sell my kwiklift....

anyone interested let me know

They take up a lot of room under the car.It doesn't really allow you to work directly under the car because the sissors are in the way.I would rather have a 2 or 4 post lift

I thought that it might be too, that is why I am sharing it with my Vette buds too... I am in the process of trying to sell my house I am in now, so now is not a good time to get one of them for me....

I have a Bend Pak 4 post lift I bought about 4 years ago. Back then it was under $2,000 delivered and I can honestly say it's the best money I ever spent. It has bee outside it's whole life and with minimum maintenance it is still in great shape. My only regret is that I didn't go for the 9,000 pound model so I could get the old M37 on it.

Here where it came from;
http://www.asedeals.com/index.html

I had a picture of it but it was lost with the attack and some some reason I can't load new pictures. Check out their site. They have some really great items for the home bust kucklers.
