Does anyone know if the T1 suspension shocks will work fine on a 2000 C5 coupe that has the optional Z51 suspension?

I had purchased a new set of 4 T1 shocks on Ebay for $200 and installed them on my ride yesterday. They fit perfectly. I took it for a nice drive to a Dodger game last night and I have to say that the ride is a little stiffer than the original shocks and does handle better.
