Well i was looking for a way to mount a new shifter boot in my auto shift without paying $50 plus for one.
1) I found this suede leather universal shifter boot off ebay for $12

2) I took the shifter plate out of the car and removed the old boot.
3) Next I removed the plastic ring that goes around the shift indicator.

4) Then test fit your new boot on the shift plate.Determine where the indicator will stick through the boot and cut it.

5) Now you have to glue the boot to the indicator ring.I used an all purpose craft glue and some paper clips to hold it in place while it dries.

6) Once it dries attatch it to the shifter plate. I cut small slits in the boot to attach to the plate and also used some glue.

7) Here it is installed.Cost me $15 total and 2 hours worth of work.
