Are there any recommended upgrades for a A6 tranny to make it capible of handling more power? I hate to be risking the tranny when there might be some simple fixes to prevent the tranny from giving out.

Contact RPM Transmissions, they have all sorts of upgrades for both manual transmissions and auto's.
